bait can vary greatly depending on the type of fish
you are trying to catch, where you are fishing, and when you are
fishing. If you are freshwater fishing, you are going to use different
bait than if you are saltwater fishing. For instance, whereas shrimp
and crab make great bait for saltwater fish, sometimes a basic worm
is the best type of fishing bait to catch a freshwater fish.
When choosing your fishing bait, you also want to consider what
time of year it is. Some fish are going to be more likely to bite
at the sort of fishing bait that is hatching at that time of the
season. If you do not know what sort of fishing bait to use, it
is a good idea to head down to your local tackle shop and ask what
the fish are biting at! You can either buy your fishing bait at
such a store, or you can find your own live fishing bait around
your fishing area.
